A trip to Washington D.C. 2009

The White House is the official workplace and residence of the US President. Barack Obama is at present the 44th  President of America

The majestic White House is located at 1600, Pennsylvannia Avenue, Washington D.C. It attracts many tourists to the site every day.

The  Jefferson Memorial stands as a symbol of liberty

Capitol Hill includes the Supreme Court Building, the Library  of Congress, Wahington Navy yard and Marine barracks.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is dedicated to honoring those who died in Vietnam war in the 1960s.

The Lincoln Memorial - 'In memory of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the US, the great emancipator of the nation during the Civil War. He sits immortalized in marble and is a symbol of freedom.'
